*Each appointment booked will be sent a confirmation by email prior to the appointment . It will contain the health questionnaire from York Region Health Department. As well as  our Covid-19 policy reminders. Please confirm the appointment after reading the important information and self assessment.  Thank you for working together to keep our community safe! 




Let a Tangles team member know if you are interested  in booking an express service.  This colour is perfect for clients who wish to have a root colour and cut in about an hour. You can also choose to forgo the blow-dry service for less time in the salon if that is your preference.  

*Can only be booked as a root colour application 

*Can not be booked with a highlight service at the same appointment 

*Natural shades of hair colour available

*3 Hair stations are currently closed to comply with 6 feet distancing regulations

*Barriers have been installed at hair styling stations, shampoo basin, at the manicure desk and at the reception desk.

*Signage has been placed throughout the salon including floors with instructions

*A hygiene station has been created at the front of the salon with hand sanitizer, masks for clients and disinfectant wipes.

*The salon has been deep cleaned.

*Staff have been trained and have had a test run of all the new policies and procedures.

*All towels and capes will be freshly laundered for each guest. 
*We have made designated times for seniors and high-risk guests Sunday and Monday 10-4

*We have created new service titles to add additional time required for outgrown hair colour as well as posted a chart for guest to know what services they will need to book

*We have increased our cleaning and disinfecting and dedicated a staff member to this task throughout the day. Each station will be disinfected after each guest.

* We have touchless hand washing dispensers at sink

*We have removed magazine rack and  phone charging station, they are currently not available

*We are temporarily suspending the coffee and tea station for guests

*A heppa filter has been added to the salon to maintain air quality 

*Upon booking an appointment you will be asked a series of health questions  If you have a fever or are not feeling well for any reason, please reschedule as soon as possible by calling the salon (905) 953- 8980 

*Your email confirmation has a questionnaire please do not come if you are feeling sick no cancellation policy will be enforced. YOU MUST  confirm appointment by doing so you are agreeing to the assessment and Tangles policy’s

* We won’t be able to accommodate walk in appointments please email or call the salon 

* Special arrangements will need to be made for clients unable to wear a mask and children accompanied by an adult.

* We require client files to be up to date and will be checking your email, phone number and address to ensure accuracy

* There is no cancellation policy at this time. If you need to cancel because you are not feeling well, we will reschedule you. Please give us as much time as possible to try to fill the appointment 

* PLEASE BE PATIENT We have 2 months’ worth of appointment to reschedule and less staff and stations that can be used because of the distancing guidelines.


*All clients must use our sanitization station at the entrance of the salon

*All clients must complete the Covid-19 questionnaire before your appointment. It will be emailed to you with your appointment conformation email.

*Please do not bring any extra personal items. drinks, extra bags, food, etc.)

*Masks are mandatory. Please keep in mind if you are colouring the mask may be stained, disposable is best option for this. If you forget/ need a mask, we do have disposable available.

*Please do not bring any personal guests with you

*Our reception area is closed, and we have very limited capacity. Please stay in your car until we are ready for you.

*We will have a sign on the door that will let you know if your station is ready and come inside or please stay in your car.

*Park as close to the front of the salon as possible and wait there so we can see you.

* We love you but we cant hug you or shake your hand at this time.
